And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. -Hebrews 13:16

Mt. Meru Coffee Project
Mt. Meru Coffee Project is instrumental in fulfilling God’s command to love one another by helping small coffee growers in Tanzania to improve their lives. The Mt. Meru Coffee Project not only pays significantly higher prices for the cherries, but they offer training and superior plants to those farmers who participate. The farmers can better provide for their families, sending their children to school and contributing to stronger, healthier communities. Consider supporting Mt. Meru Coffee by placing a coffee order with Barb Carroll. Click on the button below for more information on the project,

Good News In Action
The Good News In Action committee is devoted to helping those in need in our community. We make and serve meals every month, collect items for our food pantry, focus on a local mission to help every quarter, provide Christmas Baskets of food to families every Christmas, raise money for kids in the community involved in the Summer Work Program and much, much more! Contact our church office or Buzz Althoen for more details or if you’d like to help out!

Memorial Quilting Group
Our group has been together since 1972— that’s 49 years! During that time we have made and donated 15,555 quilts. Originally they all went to Lutheran World Relief, but more recently we decided to share more locally. Until last year when Covid-19 changed everything, we used to split them 50% with LWR and 50% at home.
The local distributions have included Hephatha Lutheran Church, The Rescue Mission/ Joy House, Sojourner Peace House, the Milwaukee Women’s Center and Veteran’s Outreach of Racine. Since 2006 we have also shared our quilts with the Pineridge Indian Reservation of South Dakota.
We average 8-12 quilters per Wednesday. If any of you would like to join us or just want to learn more about us, stop in any Wednesday morning from 9-11:30. We would love to meet you!
